Family Camping in Coalville

Last weekend we went camping in Coalville with the WHOLE family! It has taken me a week to get this post up because I started a new job on Monday and am super busy now. We went with Codey's family, there were 18 of us. It was Codey and I with the girls. Ashley, Josh, Paige, Jayda and Gage. Jamey, Zane, Mason, Bridger and Cache. Grandpa Larry and Casey. Last but not least Grandma and Grandpa Marks.

To the Left is Codey fishing with the kids (Paige looks thrilled doesn't she :)) Below that is one time we went, Dakota, Bridger, Oaklee and Mason.

The kids had sooooooo much to do. They swam, did crafts with the campground, played on the playground, and fished to name a few.
To the Left here is Codey playing with Cache.... the babies were so fun up there!

This is my nephew Gage, totally love this kid!!!Sometimes this is how we kept the babies contained. No I'm totally kidding, well kind of.

The last pics are of the girls swimming. I swear they are fish..they would swim 24/7 if we let them.
We had so much fun on this trip. Thanks to all the great family we have!!!! Thanks guys, let's do it again!

Dakota took State!!!!

A lot has been going on lately but I have not been posting. I decided I better get back on the computer. We have been following Dakota around to track meets. She started at her school's Hershey Track and Field meet where she took 2nd in the 50 and 1st in the 100. This qualified her for the district meet, which she also took a 1st and a 2nd place, which qualified her for the County meet which she also took a 1st and a 2nd place, which finally ended us at State. We traveled down to Richfield, apparently this is the center of the state. Dakota had qualified for the 50 meter dash and the 100 meter dash. She had a tremendous cheering squad, Codey, oaklee and I were there, Her dad and Jill, Jeremey and Brianne and the girls, Her Grandma Miny and Grandpa Gary, Heather and Landon and Grandma and Great Grandma and Grandpa King. Dakota ran her heart out. She even looked the part, Jeremey and Bri brought her a tank with her name on the back and she wore running bikers. It's so funny because the girl has never liked running. I asked after she won the 2nd meet if she was having fun......she said"ya know mom I really hate to run but I hate to lose even more" I guess that says it all:). At the state meet she ended up taking 1st in the 50m and 2nd in the 100m. We are now waiting to hear from the State because with her time she may qualify for the National Track meet in Hersey, Pennsylvania.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We got to go to my Grandma & Grandpa Kings house in American Fork. It was nice because my whole family was there and alot of my dads side of the family was there too. It was very nice to see everyone and spend time with the fam. I got to see my nieces from St. George which I don't get to see often. On Wednesday we had fun, Brynlee got to stay the night with us and go to dakotas game on Wednesday. Then we went to the mall and I took all 4 girls to Madagascar 2(thanks Shy)"). It was great to spend time with family. On Thanksgiving night we got to go to Codey's dad's house and spend time with his family. I have tons of cute pics of the kiddos, but i haven't uploaded them yet. So this post is to be continued and I will have pics. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.

The Fateful Day of November 22, 2008

Ok so those of you that know me all know I was brought up into a diehard BYU family. Until i converted to U-ism! This last Saturday was ahuge milestone for my holiday gloating rights! The sad thing is I have to do it on here because my brothers can't reach me, yet. In fact as of now I have contained my excitement of the amazing 12-0 season and the demolishing of BYU to my other Ute fan cohorts and my sister, sorry Shy, and tthat only because I think I can take her. I do have a few little ism's that my bro. the diehard BYU fan sent me that I couldn't help but pass on. Like the news flash that Max Hall was on in way to the bus and threw an intercetion in the parking lot. Or the one that Max Hall was in church and tried to throw his gum in the traxh but it was batted at the line!!!!!!!!!! Couldn't help but pass those one's on, just way too funny. So I feel really bad for Max Hall, cause what a horrible game. For the 5 interceptions we caught(or was it 6, I lost count) and the 5 we dropped the 48-24 score was easy goin' on the Cougars! I have been waiting to write this but just couldn't hold back any more. I hope I'm still invited to Thanksgiving?
GO UTES!!!! BCS HERE WE COME!
